Serb hardliners continue building road barricades in northern Kosovo. They have put a large Serbian flag over the barricade in Bernjak, and they stated that they will not retreat. KFOR members removed barbed wires in Bernjak. The gate was opened on Monday evening, but vehicles cannot go through because of Serb barricades.

On the other hand, Albanian residents of the villages of Bistrica, Ceraj, and Koshtova that are situated deep in the northern zone said that after building of barricades, the situation has been worsened exceedingly. The residents called upon the institutions to help those three villages that are considered as isolated.
All broadcasters reported that Serbian authorities continue not allowing Kosovo trucks to enter Serbia. Reportedly, this is another signal to the Kosovo government that the Serbian authorities are not intending to recognise accompanying documents that contain elements of Kosovo’s statehood. While Kosovo government is still considering applying reciprocity steps, 270 trucks entered Kosovo from the Merdare crossing.
