On Thursday, May 16th, 2013 at the auditorium of the American University of Kosovo in Pristina (11/am Hour), Albanian war photojournalist Vedat Xhymshiti, will give a lecture on the health, social and living conditions of displaced persons within the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic, whose people are facing a harsh civil war since March 2011, when the Syrian revolution erupted in a peaceful political rebellion against regime of President Bashar al-Assad, which very soon turned into an armed civilian and government forces conflict for the human rights by the people, and for the political control by the government it self.
Vedat Xhymshiti, stayed in the Syrian Arab Republic for six months during 2012, from where he reported to the prestigious American and European media within inside the rebel hold Syrian territories.
The lecture is organized as part of the initiative of the AUK students who are preparing to initiate a fundraising campaign to support the foodstuff, hygiene, medications and clothing for the Syrian refugees within territory in dispute.
