On the verge of April 1999, when the then Yugoslavian military machinery in Kosovo under the rule of the Balkan mad Serbian man Slobodan Milosevic indiscriminately killed, massacred and expulsed innocent ethnic Albanians from Kosovo, the world went out to support the people of Kosovo. Kosovars were also supported by the Palestinian people, who now and over sixteen years ago are experiencing the same fate.

Kosovo war ended in March of 1999 after an extended NATO bombing campaign on Yugoslavia that eventually led to the Serbian assembly granting Kosovo political autonomy while keeping it within its territorial border. Nine years after the end of the war, Kosovo declared its independence, but its status as the self declared Republic of Kosovo has only been recognised by 108 of the 193 United Nations member states.

NATO is reluctant to intervene in Palestine’s occupied territory to save its civilian population from the long-term apartheid and long-standing ethnic cleansing from the state of Israel who according to the logic of human right conventions they may be called for having heavily involved in commitment of war crimes against humanity.

In a video posted to YouTube, which is recently published at Kosovar media Zëri and Express, Palestinians are seen as burning a Serbian flag of the former Yugoslavia. In the video banners are seen where Palestinians demand the world powers to intervene and save Albanian civilian population.

In the very recent days the Palestine is facing heavy airstrikes from Israel who are claiming that they’re only defending their self with a result of over 200 Palestinian civilians casualties. However, Kosovo is a country which is lead by war crime suspects, crime fugitives of political assassinations ect. The country recently went into general elections and it is turning into the 2nd month of unsolved political gap, due to the fact that more then 53% of the people of Kosovo refused to participate in second term general elections, after country declared its independence from Serbia in 2008.
